Irene Henry

Irene loves serving as a connection between people and ideas to help communities become more climate resilient and address inequities. A background in music taught her how individual voices can unite in harmony to bridge divergent beliefs and cultures, bringing people together with a shared purpose. She aspires to use this knowledge, along with experience in urban planning, writing, nonprofits, and climate activism, to help connect communities with the tools and resources necessary to become climate resilient. Irene will soon complete her Masters in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and holds a BA in Music from St. Olaf College.
